We went to Portillo's for lunch on July 4th. This was amazing, but I might still be feeling it!
... and after Portillo's we ended up at IKEA. Great store, but not feeling great after eating hotdogs, fries, and pop. Ended up getting some new tupperware and got some ideas for our new place.
The day after we ended up at Forever 21... How does this happen? Haha. It actually ended up being a good time because we ended up at a Mexican food place that made the best shrimp tacos of all-time. Lesson is this: If we go to a clothing store, it must be followed up by Mexican food.
On our last day in the Chicagoland area, my dad and I ended up at an Apple store. He had never seen one before, so it was awesome hearing his reaction: "There are so many people here! It's a Saturday afternoon!"
I just think this looks good.
We are back in Columbia, and I am excited to start posting some updates about what we are up to in the city! I plan on playing some basketball and hanging out with some friends at Douglass Park, so prayer would be appreciated.
God is good and He provided a family that welcomed us into their home and entertained us for a couple days!
