These pictures are from Alley A in Columbia. Oddly, this is one of my favorite places in Columbia. I love it because I believe it gives me a good reminder of larger cities. It reminds me that Columbia is a smaller city that needs a lot of attention, work, redemption.
Columbia is a city that appears to be beautifull constructed with a tons of people living out their dreams - especially at Mizzou - but most people are hurting, broken, and in need of redemption that can only be found in Jesus. We are image bearers of God, and we all need redemption that only Jesus can fully satisfy.
We all need to cry out what the Psalmist says in Pslam 63, "your steadfast love is better than life."
Jesus' love is better than life. He died to show us that. He rose from the grave to show us that. We receive the blessing and God gets the glory!
God is good and gracious.
