Last night I decided to play basektball for the first time in about a month - maybe even longer than that - due to the wisdom teeth surgery. I thought it would be good to get active again and start shooting the basketball with friends again.
Less than five minutes into the game, I went up for a rebound and the ball hit the top of my pinky finger. I thought I jammed my finger, so I kept playing through the pain. After the first time it hit my finger I can recall over five other times where the ball hit my hand it sent shockwaves through my body.
My finger might be broken.
Please pray for me today. Pray for healing, and if there is no healing that I find peace that God is using this to draw me closer to Him. Pray that I seek God's grace and His patience in this circumstance.
God is good and gracious.
