Photo Update 02.08.15

Drinking some Turkish coffee at Olive Cafe while reading Systematic Theology. Interesting to be reading about Christ's ascension while in the midst of people who reject it.

Ali took me to the Roasterie for breakfast on Saturday morning. Tour of the facility, taste-tasted some sole source seeds, and bought some Sporting KC coffee.

Taste-testing this was an awesome experience. Buy this... Only 22 dollars for such a rare coffee.

Brazilian shop at City Market.

(Randomly placed picture) Kevin, Lead Pastor of Karis Church, preached at the Mizzou BSU.

Bought some coffee from this Brazilian shop.

Negro League Baseball Museum was awesome. Such a historic look at a messy yet amazing time in baseball history.

Ali, my beautiful wife.

Triston is such a good kid. Funny, full of energy, and full of questions.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas and God bless you all.

God is good and gracious. He sent His son to the world to save us from our sin and to defeat Satan, sin and death! What a good and gracious God!

Photo Update - Snow and Skies

Ali got really excited about the first snow fall. - In Jefferson City for Date Night

First snow fall here in Columbia! So beautiful.

I'm biased, but snow makes the house looks pretty dang nice. :)

Ten new members introduced at Karis Church this past Sunday. Pumped to have more brothers and sisters on mission together.

Outside a MU Library window.

3rd floor view of MU parking garage.
Check out the last couple of posts if you would like to see what kind of things I have been mulling over during my time as an intern. God has been very faithful to grow me during this time.

God is good and gracious.

A Halloween Reflection

I was reflecting on a couple of Fridays ago, and these four pictures depict how great of a time it was. Ali, my beautiful wife, thank you for loving me and being my sister in Christ.

Photo Update 10.27.14

I love my wife... So amazing of her to come with me to the SKC game!

Triston balancing on this... thing... in the park. Love this kid.

Have you ever seen something freak out over a Crock-Pot? I have...

TMNT at work. Not ashamed.

I think this is hilarious due to being parked in a Steak and Shake parking lot.

Selfie? No, just me thinking that these two are WAY TOO CLOSE!

Sporting Park! Here we go!

Sick stadium, right!?

Got me a new jersey bro. Legit stuff.

Okay, come on... This is a ridiculously cool hat!

Beautiful night with my beautiful wife watching the beautiful game!

845 Days of Marriage

If you don't know my wife, you are missing out. Over the course of our relationship I have realized how much God is working on her heart, her love for Jesus, and her love for me. God has shaped her heart to be compassionate for the "least of these," and I am honored that God would entrust me to love, serve, and cherish His daughter.

Our marriage is not always easy, but our marriage is making me a better man of God. Our marriage is messy, but God is making two sinners more and more like His perfect and sinless Son, Jesus.

We've been married for 845 days (2 years, 3 months, and 23 days). I am excited about the next 845 days of marriage to my best friend in the entire world!

Love you babe.

Mizzou Baseball Saturday

This past Saturday afternoon Ali and I took a couple of kids that we have gotten to know over time and we are attempting to mentor them during our time in Columbia. They had said they have never been to a baseball game before, so we thought that the Mizzou game would be a good idea... Parents, do you know what happened next?

We only lasted four innings!

Even though we left early from the game, it was a great time. I love these kids and hopefully over time we can continually share with them the love of God through Jesus Christ with them.

God is good and gracious.
